Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments that include evaluating patients' physical conditions, medical histories, and functional limitations.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and patient goals.

• Guide and instruct patients through active and passive exercises, facilitating muscle re-education, and improving functional capabilities.

• Assist patients in activities of daily living and gait training to enhance their mobility and independence.

• Educate patients and their families on injury management, rehabilitation strategies, and home exercise plans to ensure continuity of care.

• Maintain accurate and updated patient records and progress notes to track treatment outcomes and modify therapy as necessary.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the center to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The orthopedic physical therapist at Motion Chiro Therapy Hospital will work primarily with a diverse clientele, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, surgical procedures, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist within Virginia.
