Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapies, therapeutic exercise protocols, and functional training to restore patient mobility and strength.
• Guide patients through active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, and activities of daily living, ensuring a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
• Teach patients and their families effective techniques for ongoing care management, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care, leading to optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment progress and changes in condition to facilitate ongoing evaluation and adaptation of care plans.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Active state licensure in Physical Therapy relevant to New York.
