Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Heal & Revive Chiro Clinic. In this full-time, onsite role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans aimed at promoting patients' health and wellness, restoring functionality, and preventing disabilities. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Physical Therapist will include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' functional abilities and impairments to devise individualized treatment plans.
  • Implementing physical therapy interventions, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, in accordance with the patient's needs.
  • Overseeing and guiding Physical Therapy Assistants in effectively carrying out prescribed therapy programs.
  • Tracking and documenting patient progress, responding to therapy outcomes, and modifying treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care for patients.
  • Providing education and training to patients and their families on proper therapeutic techniques and home exercise routines.
  • Participating in case conferences to contribute insights and updates on treatment approaches and patient progress.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients consist of individuals of various ages and backgrounds seeking rehabilitation for post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. We take pride in our ability to tailor our approaches to each client's personal circumstances and rehabilitative goals, ensuring they receive maximum support and encouragement throughout their healing journey.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • A valid physical therapy license in good standing in the state of Virginia.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • A valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • A proven track record of effective interpersonal communication skills, emphasizing patient and family engagement.
  • A genuine passion for clinical excellence and a commitment to providing a supportive patient experience.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences will be highly regarded:

  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
  • A minimum of one year of practical experience working in acute care or home healthcare environments.
  • Familiarity with federal and state regulations pertaining to therapy practices.
  • Experience in supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy Assistants.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and relevant qualifications.
