Description:

WorldKids School is looking for several dynamic and energetic Mandarin/Chinese/Spanish teachers to join our team. The preferred candidate should be fluent Mandarin/Chinese/Spanish speakers with prior childcare teaching experience. We serve ages eight weeks to six years old. Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure their safety and wellbeing
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Teach Mandarin Chinese in an Immersion Early Childhood setting. Prepare and serve meals and snacks that meet children's nutritional needs
  • Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment, including toys, equipment, and supplies
  • Collaborate with parents to ensure that their children's needs are being met
  • Keep records of children's daily activities and progress, and share them with parents as needed
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development training as required
  • Cooking / preparation of meals and light snacks
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fluency in Mandarin/Chinese or spanish
  • Experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Willingness to complete all trainings required by DCYF
