Job description

Job Details:
The Chiller Rehanger is responsible for inspecting poultry products as they exit the chiller and re-hanging birds onto overhead shackles according to production and quality standards. Team members play a critical role in maintaining product flow, identifying quality defects, and ensuring food safety and product integrity throughout the processing operation.
Essential Functions
  • Inspect birds exiting the chiller for quality and grading requirements.
  • Re-hang birds onto overhead shackles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Remove birds that do not meet quality standards and place them in designated containers for further processing.
  • Maintain established production rates and processing standards.
  • Monitor product condition and report quality concerns to supervisors.
  • Capture and record required production data as directed.
  • Follow all Tyson Foods food safety, animal welfare, quality assurance, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Assist with other production tasks as assigned by management.
