About This Role

At Chroma Early Learning Academy, an exceptional leader is sought to spearhead a stimulating and nurturing learning environment for young children. This crucial role involves crafting and executing a tailored curriculum that fosters cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth, while maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere. The ideal candidate will oversee and guide assistant staff, manage daily operations, and maintain open communication with families regarding children’s progress and needs. The successful candidate will be highly organized, dependable, and knowledgeable in early childhood education, with strong leadership skills and a genuine commitment to creating a positive and supportive learning environment.


What You'll Do
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment aligned with Georgia DECAL and Quality Rated standards.
  • Support the implementation of an age-appropriate curriculum that promotes sensory exploration, early communication, and gross motor development.
  • Assist the Assistant Teacher in the day-to-day care of the children in the classroom.
  • Observe and document developmental milestones and communicate regularly with families.
  • Follow all licensing and program guidelines related to health, safety, and sanitation.
  • Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training required for Quality Rated compliance.

Requirements
  • Ability to meet all requirements under Georgia’s Bright from the Start and Quality Rated guidelines.
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Passion for early childhood education and the social-emotional well-being of young children.
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to continuous learning.
  • CDA,TCC, or Paraprofessional certificate Required
  • Ability to Pass a Background Check
  • High school diploma or GED Required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
