We are seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a freestanding behavioral health hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. This opportunity offers flexible weekend call coverage and independent contractor compensation models, allowing you to focus on providing high-quality inpatient and residential psychiatric care for children and adolescents within a structured, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment to child and adolescent inpatient and residential patients
• Deliver weekend call coverage and clinical oversight
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, therapists, nursing staff, and support personnel
• Manage day-to-day clinical responsibilities, including treatment planning and medication management
• Document care accurately
