Job description

Provide leadership and direction in the overall supervision, administration, fiscal management and daily operations of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation (MPTN) Child Development Center (CDC). Develop a strong working knowledge and background in developmentally appropriate practices, quality operations and accreditation requirements. The Assistant Director is responsible for oversight of the daily operations of the CDC, which includes direct supervision of management staff, coaches, and coordinators, budgeting, approving all ordering and expenditures. This position supports the Director in the completion of duties. Participate in community collaborations that help support the CDC. Must be flexible to meet the needs of the program by attending both early morning and evening meetings/functions when needed.
