As an LCSW-C, you will have the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, identifying their strengths and areas for growth.
• Provide tailored individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans that include specific goals, interventions, and progress monitoring.
• Offer crisis intervention services, including conducting risk assessments and creating effective safety plans for clients in distress.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and provide them with essential connections to community resources and case management support.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to elevate mental health awareness and reduce stigma associated with seeking help.

Your work will directly impact a diverse group of clients struggling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and traumatic experiences. To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland.
