This role will be primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while still offering a supportive and collaborative team atmosphere. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, parents, and other social workers, to develop strategies that promote the healthy development of children. The remote setting will allow you to connect with families and colleagues through digital platforms while making a meaningful impact.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to identify developmental needs and create individualized support plans.
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring families are engaged and informed throughout the process.
• Monitor and document the children's progress and outcomes as part of a collaborative team focused on enhancing early childhood development.
• Build trusting relationships with children and their families to encourage open communication and collaboration.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and principles of the Natural Learning Environment in the support and coaching of families to enhance their child's development.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations pertaining to social work and early intervention services.
• Provide families with education and resources to help them support their child's development and navigate various challenges.
• Contribute to team meetings and training sessions, sharing insights and strategies to promote the continuous improvement of services offered.

This role is focused primarily on children from birth to three years of age who may experience disabilities or developmental delays. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will play a vital role in early intervention initiatives, providing support, assessments, and resources that help families navigate the complexities of their child's developmental needs.

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure by the Connecticut Department of Public Health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of one year of experience working with young children in early intervention settings.
• Strong commitment to utilizing Natural Learning Environment Practices to foster children's growth and development.
• Proficient in adapting intervention strategies to meet diverse learning styles for children and their families.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation to facilitate potential travel for client visits.
