Job description

Join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of infants and their families every day! Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centersis committed to providing a safe, nurturing and enriching environment for young children to explore, learn, and grow. We believe in the importance of early childhood education and are actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our Lake Orion team.

As the Lead, you will help foster curiosity, growth, and security during a child’s most important developmental years. You play a vital role in the development and well-being of infants, leading the day-to-day activities with the support and collaboration of an assistant teacher to provide the best possible learning experience and care for infants utilizing the High Scope curriculum.
Position Details:

Status: Regular, full-time

Schedule: Monday – Friday (8am-5pm)

Pay rate- $16-$20/hour (based on certification or degree plus years of experience in Early Childhood Education)

Location: Onsite, Lake Orion, MI

Please note this position does not qualify for US Visa sponsorship or relocation

Requirements

  • CDA (Child Development Associate) credential required
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or child-related field preferred
  • Minimum of one year experience in an infant classroom required
  • CPR Certification
  • Willing to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC and Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines for ECE Teachers
