Kinder Kastle in Elmwood Park and in Elmwood park NJ are looking for Amazing LEAD Teachers like you!!!!

We have the most amazing opportunity to join our team for candidates who show enthusiasm for learning and discovering, teamwork, and most of all imagination!

Our ideal candidate will possess a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent and will look for ways to enhance our mission and vision to bring imagination back to childhood. If you LOVE making a mess and figuring out how the world works through the eyes of a child and have a heart of patience to support their trials them send us your resume today.

Daily Responsibilities

-Developing lesson plans based on Developmental Guidelines and monthly themes.

-Meeting the individual needs of the children by interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.

-Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.

-Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom.

-Creating a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning

-Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child's age and developmental level

-Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills

-Building teamwork

-Using assessment tools and observations to track individual child development.

-Committing to continuing education.

-Ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance and State Licensing Standards

Career Requirements

-CDA, Associates or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field

-Prior classroom experience - Minimum 1 year (Infant, Toddler, Preschool)

-Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices

-Strong written and communication skills
