• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the mental health needs of clients, ensuring a holistic approach.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify issues and appropriate therapeutic strategies for children, adolescents, and adults.
• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, assisting clients in navigating urgent emotional challenges effectively.
• Facilitate support groups for parents, guiding discussions around relevant topics such as trauma, attachment, and parenting challenges.
• Consult with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and share insights on client progress and treatment strategies.
• Offer training and mentorship to community professionals and parents, enhancing their understanding of mental health and child development.

Your work will primarily focus on clients aged 0-21, as well as their families. You will be equipped to tackle various issues, including addiction, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and gender identity concerns. A significant aspect of your role will involve providing specialized support to families dealing with prenatal substance exposure and promoting healthy attachment practices. Your expertise will guide families as they navigate complex dynamics surrounding adoption and placement.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.
• Current and appropriate California licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• Deep understanding of trauma-informed care practices and their application in therapeutic settings.

• Demonstrated experience with mental health treatment interventions tailored for children and their caregivers.
• Prior work in a clinical or community setting focusing on parent-child relationships and high-risk behaviors is ideal.
• Familiarity with assessment tools and therapeutic methodologies that address child development and family interventions.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and caseload.
