• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs of children and adolescents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the developmental stages and family dynamics of each patient.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at strengthening relationships and guiding parents and caregivers to support their children effectively.
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated care and holistic support for patients.
• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies to ensure the safety and well-being of at-risk youth.
• Educate patients and families about mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards required in mental health practice.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case discussions, and continuous professional education sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Stay updated on current research, advancements, and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry to inform clinical practice.

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges. The therapist will be equipped to address various issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and complex behavioral problems. A profound understanding of the developmental factors influencing mental health in young individuals is crucial.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Experience providing both individual and family therapy for children and adolescents.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, paired with a compassionate, child-centered approach.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with children, adolescents, and their families.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and proficiency in various computer applications relevant to the role.
• Ability to work effectively as a part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to patient care.

• Prior experience working in an outpatient clinic or community health setting.
• Knowledge of local community resources available for mental health support.
• Experience in crisis intervention and emergency mental health services.
