Job description

Exchange Bank & Trust is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to oversee the day-to-day financial functions of a $600M Bank. The preferred candidate will have experience in:

  • Preparation, Analysis and Presentation of Financial Results to Management, the Board and Regulatory Agencies
  • Management, preparation and presentation of annual budgeting process
  • Management of relationship and process for annual third-party audit, tax preparation and 401k audit
  • Bank Policy Development and Reviews
  • Acquisition analysis and member of team setting strategic direction of the Bank
This position will report to the CEO.

The Chief Financial Officer will be required to learn Bank policies that have been approved by the Board of Directors. The position duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Chairing of the monthly asset and liability meetings
  • Analyze and Report on bank performance at monthly board meetings
  • Analyze and present Branch Profitability Reporting
  • Participate in the management of the Bankโ€™s overall Liquidity position and Investment portfolio position
  • Chair Information Technology Committee and help manage IT Department
  • Help oversee vendor management, including review of new contracts and vendor due diligence
  • Oversee Bank Property & Casualty Insurance Program
  • Annual stress test of the loan portfolio
  • Assist in the calculation of loan provision
  • Respond to OSBC & FDIC Exam requests, as required
  • Member of a management team that manages Liquidity, Investment portfolio decision and Information Technology
This position is not a remote position. The Chief Financial Officer will be required to spend a significant amount of his/her time in the Atchison Kansas Headquarters. This is an excellent career opportunity for the right applicant. #J-18808-Ljbffr
