The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the Chief People Officer serves as the organization's senior HR leader and a trusted advisor to the Executive Team.

You'lllead all aspects of Human Resources while helping Community Connections strengthen employee engagement, attract andretainexceptional talent, develop leaders, and create an employee experience that reflects the organization's values and mission.

You'll oversee a talented HR team and play a key role in shaping organizational strategy, culture, and long-term workforce planning.

Success in this role requires both strategic vision and hands-on leadership.You'llspend time in executive planning discussions, while also partnering closely with managers andemployees across the organization to solve challenges, build capability, and support a positive workplace culture.

Who We're Looking For

We'reseekinga collaborative and emotionally intelligent leader who understands that strong organizations are built through trust, accountability, and relationships.

You may be an ideal fit if you:

  • Have 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including senior-level leadership responsibilities
  • Have successfully led HR strategy, organizational change, and employee relations in a complex organization
  • Are equally comfortable discussing workforce metrics with executives and coaching managers through difficult conversations
  • Bring a thoughtful, practical approach to leadership and problem solving
  • Believe that culture is created through everyday actions, not simply words
  • Want your work to have a meaningful impact on employees, participants, and the broader community
  • Bachelor'sdegreerequired.Master's degree and SHRM-SCP/SPHR preferred.

Prior nonprofit or human services experience is helpful but notrequired. What matters most is your ability to lead people, build strong partnerships, and align your work with our mission.
