Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead operational strategy, improve business performance, and support scalable growth for a growing employee-owned Green Industry organization. The COO will oversee multiple operational divisions, develop high-performing teams, implement efficient processes, and drive accountability across the organization. This executive leadership role partners closely with the President, CFO, and senior leadership team to translate strategic goals into measurable operational results.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operations across multiple business divisions, including landscape maintenance, lawn care, and tree services.

  • Partner with executive leadership to execute company strategy, growth initiatives, and operational goals.

  • Manage and develop department managers and operational leaders.

  • Build leadership pipelines through coaching, mentoring, and employee development.

  • Establish operational KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, and performance tracking systems.

  • Improve productivity, profitability, workflow efficiency, and resource allocation.

  • Develop forecasting, budgeting, and operational planning processes.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to support business growth and continuous improvement.

  • Drive a culture of accountability, safety, communication, and employee engagement.

  • Oversee fleet management, operational compliance, and industry standards.
