To thrive as a Chief Informatics Officer, you need expertise in health informatics, data analytics, and IT management, typically supported by an advanced degree in health informatics, computer science, or a related field. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, data integration tools, and compliance frameworks like HIPAA is critical.
