  • Monitor financial performance, cost accounting, revenue, expenditures, and organizational trends.
  • Provide financial guidance and recommendations to the Executive Director/CEO and leadership team.
  • Ensure appropriate internal controls and effective stewardship of organizational funds and assets.
  • Monitor federal and state fiscal requirements and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze healthcare, reimbursement, managed care, economic, and funding trends affecting the organization.
  • Oversee financial systems, policies, procedures, and reporting processes.
  • Supervise, develop, and evaluate finance and accounting staff.
  • Support strategic planning and identify opportunities to strengthen financial performance and organizational sustainability.
WHAT YOU BRING Required Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of progressive financial management experience in an FQHC or healthcare organization.
  • Previous experience serving as a CFO or senior-level healthcare financial executive.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare accounting, budgeting, audits, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated supervisory and leadership experience.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with executive leadership, the Board of Directors, employees, auditors, funding agencies, and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA or other relevant professional certification.
  • Extensive FQHC experience, including familiarity with federal grants, cost reporting, reimbursement, managed care, and healthcare financial compliance.
  • Experience working in a nonprofit or community health center environment.
WHY JOIN US?

This is more than a finance leadership position—it is an opportunity to use your expertise to support a mission that directly impacts the health and well-being of our community.

As our CFO, you will help ensure that strong financial management supports accessible, high-quality, patient-centered healthcare.
