Inkitt is building the Disney of the 21st Century, standing at the forefront of technology and entertainment. Leveraging AI and predictive algorithms, Inkitt discovers unknown stories and turns them into blockbuster hits, producing a new $1M ebook every 4 weeks and selling directly to consumers through its Galatea app. Inkitt has become the 11th most bestseller-generating publisher in the world, boasting a 40x higher hit-rate than traditional publishers. Recently raising a Series C and backed by some of the top VC’s such as: Khosla, Kleiner Perkins, and NEA Ventures, our recent expansion into CandyJarTV is only the beginning of our journey to becoming the next-gen entertainment powerhouse.

This is an in-office role, requiring 5 days per week onsite at our San Francisco (South Park) office.
Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office Monday–Friday.
What You'll Do:
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to the CEO, working side‑by‑side on strategic priorities, planning cycles, and special projects that drive Inkitt’s growth.
  • Oversee cross‑functional initiatives, ensuring clear direction, accountability, and delivery across the executive team and company leadership.
  • Translate high‑level strategy into actionable plans and operational frameworks.
  • Support decision‑making by conducting deep strategic and analytical work, identifying trends, and providing data‑driven insights.
  • Manage the flow of information to and from the CEO, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and strong executive alignment.
  • Represent the CEO in key discussions, meetings, or projects as needed, ensuring continuity of leadership and communication.
  • Champion collaboration and operational excellence across teams, helping Inkitt stay fast‑moving and coordinated as it scales globally.
What You'll Bring:
  • MBA required from a top institution, paired with strong strategic and operational acumen.
  • Top-tier consulting firm (Bain, BCG, McKinsey, or Bridgewater) or investment banking experience required. Ideally have additional experience in a strategy/product/business operations role at a tech company 
  • 4-6 years of professional experience in management consulting, strategy, or executive operations.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and communication skills with proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • High emotional intelligence and humility—able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and executives.
  • Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable in hands‑on execution mode.
  • Passion for technology, storytelling, and the intersection of AI and entertainment.
