We are actively seeking a GVP, Global Product Development. The role will be based in the US and may work from a remote office. Location within commuting distance of our regional hubs in Las Vegas, NV or Pleasanton, CA is desirable, or near a major city as periodic travel will be required as necessary across the world. The role will report directly to the EVP & Chief Delivery Officer of Rimini Street.
Position Summary
The GVP, Global Product Development is responsible for the overall strategy, governance, performance, and business outcomes of Rimini Street's Product Development organization. The role provides executive leadership across the commercialization, operationalization, delivery, maintenance, and lifecycle management of Tax, Legal & Regulatory solutions, product enhancements, new product introductions, and hot fix delivery. The role ensures alignment between business priorities, product strategy, client commitments, and technology investments while driving scalable, predictable, and supportable delivery outcomes.
Serving as the bridge between product strategy and engineering execution, this leader is accountable for bringing products and services to market, establishing operational readiness, and ensuring they are successfully adopted, scaled, supported, and sustained throughout their lifecycle.
This leader will be responsible for building a scalable global product development model that supports Rimini Street's enterprise software services portfolio, improves speed and quality of delivery, strengthens product and regulatory execution, and drives operational excellence through modern development practices, automation, Agile/DevOps discipline, and cross-functional collaboration
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the global Product Development organization and establish the vision, strategy, operating model, and priorities that support the Company's growth objectives.
  • Own the development execution, productization, lifecycle management, and operational performance of the Product Development portfolio, including Tax, Legal & Regulatory product delivery, Product Maintenance & Enhancements, New Product Introduction, and Hot Fix Management.
  • Serve as the executive owner responsible for transitioning new products, services, tools, and capabilities from Research & Development into production operations, ensuring successful commercialization, scalability, supportability, and long-term lifecycle management.
  • Establish governance, prioritization frameworks, and investment strategies to ensure development resources are aligned to the highest business and client value opportunities.
  • Partner with executive leadership, Product, Research & Development, Support, Managed Services, Professional Services, Sales, and Client Onboarding to align development priorities with company objectives, market opportunities, and client requirements.
  • Oversee portfolio planning, resource strategy, organizational design, workforce planning, and budget management for the global Product Development organization.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators, operational metrics, and governance processes to improve product quality, delivery effectiveness, scalability, customer adoption, and business performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, modern engineering practices, process optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Serve as the executive point of accountability for development-related business risks, strategic initiatives, product readiness, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing leadership team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Represent Product Development in executive, client, partner, and strategic stakeholder engagements as required.
  • Drive long-term organizational capability, succession planning, and talent development to support future business growth.
  • Partner with Product Management, Global Tax, and Research & Development leadership to transition approved product strategies and requirements into scalable, supportable, and commercially viable products and services.
  • Accountable for operational readiness, adoption, supportability, and long-term success of products and services following General Availability.

Desired Experience
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in enterprise software development, product management, technology services, or related organizations.
  • Proven success leading global, multi-functional teams with responsibility for strategy, business outcomes, financial performance, and organizational growth.
  • Experience bringing enterprise software products and services from concept through commercialization, General Availability, and ongoing lifecycle management.
  • Experience managing product development portfolios that include regulatory, compliance, enhancement, and new product initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success driving innovation, automation, organizational transformation, and operational excellence in a global environment.

The general salary range for this type of role is 260k - 390k depending on skills and experience. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be based on several factors such as: a candidate's location, and the level of applicable skills and professional experience. Rimini's target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant's Interview process.
