Description:

NOTE: This is a full-time employment opportunity (open to W2, 1099 or C2C, no third parties, please). The candidate MUST be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and able to complete/pass/hold a public trust investigation. This is a remote opportunity; candidate must be based in the United States; have resided in the US for the last 3 years of the past 5 years; ET time zone work schedule.


Daily Responsibilities

  • The Chief Data Architect leads the design and implementation of the data architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with the projects data and analytics objectives.
  • Design and oversee the enterprise data architecture using a modern lakehouse approach
  • Define data models, pipelines, and semantic layer strategy
  • Ensure scalability, performance optimization, and system integration
  • Align architecture with governance, analytics, and reporting requirements
  • Guide engineering teams on best practices and standards


Requirements:
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must have resided in the United States for the past 3 years within the last 5 years.
  • Must be able to complete/pass/hold at a minimum a federal public trust investigation.
  • 12+ years of experience in data architecture
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Databricks)
  • Experience with large-scale healthcare or federal data systems.
  • Strong background in analytics and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or related field (master’s degree is preferred)
