Job description

Village Surgical Center of Erie, a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical center, is seeking a Chief Anesthesiologist to join its collegial team. This role offers the opportunity to provide superior clinical expertise in a patient-focused environment, utilizing technologically advanced medical equipment. The center emphasizes a care team model, fostering a supportive atmosphere for delivering excellent patient care.

  • State-of-the-art ambulatory surgical center with technologically advanced medical equipment

  • Case assignments include cataracts, endoscopies, podiatry, pediatric dental, and more

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
  • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
  • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
  • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

  • Salary: $452,000 annually
  • Chief Stipend: $30,000
  • Sign-on Incentive: $30,000
