Job description

North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking a Chief Anesthesiologist to join UPMC Hanover, a Joint Commission-accredited facility and Certified Primary Stroke Center. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive anesthesia care across a diverse case mix, excluding cardiac and neuro cases. The successful candidate will also provide clinical leadership and departmental coordination within a supportive environment.

Practice Info

  • Diverse case mix including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, endoscopy, ENT, and ophthalmology
  • No cardiac or neuro cases
  • Limited pediatric cases

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
  • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
  • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
  • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Compensation

  • Salary: $500,000 annually
  • Chief Bonus: $45,000
  • Sign on Incentive: $50,000
