POSITION: Loader/Sorter
HOURS: Monday through Friday, with availability to work weekends and overtime.
COMPENSATION: $16.50 - $17.50 hour
REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor
EMPLOYMENT: Full time
JOB SUMMARY: Works directly on production line, assessing for quality and facilitating product flow from start of line processing to packaging.
JOB DUTIES:
  • Work with product at various stages of production, such as separating and sorting product, grading product, and packing bagged product according to product specification.
  • Assist in staging work materials and maintaining organization of work area.
  • Assist in other departments as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Exposure to varying temperatures from warm to very cold; noise; humidity; moving vehicles; slippery floors; possible heavy and repeated lifting. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must complete required safety training. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift and twist up to 8 hours per day. Previous food processing/manufacturing experience a plus.
