Job description

We are a family owned and operated 4th generation slaughter house, butcher shop and retail store. We strongly value quality and freshness here. We raise our own livestock, slaughter and butcher right here on site. Our retail store is filled with a variety of fresh meats including beef, pork, chicken and more. You will also find a full deli inside our store along with our own smoked meats that we make here on site.
Our Customer Service Team Members are a part of the back bone of our company. They are responsible for filling customer orders as needed and in a timely manner. Customer Service team members are on the front lines with our customers and get the opportunity to know them and understand our community
Some of the job responsibilities are as follows:
* Deliver kind customer service and greet customers warmly
* Learn to identify and answer questions about cuts of meat
* Be able to work quickly and efficiently
* Correctly label different cuts of meat
* Wrap meat in freezer paper in a tight, clean presentable way
* Keep meat counter clean and tidy during the day
* Be able to multi-task and treat customer as #1 priority
* Be able to understand and follow directions
* Works well with others
Prior experience working in a meat department is not required. We will train you for the position.
Job opportunities for our Team members will be 20-28 hours a week. Immediate positions open and availability until 630pm is a must. Pay is based on experience. We are closed on Sundays and all major Holidays.
