Dan's Prize Inc., processes and packages meat product at two production facilities located in Browerville and Long Prairie MN. We have over 600 different meat products; we work with beef, pork, chicken, and turkey. Dan's Prize started in 1986 with 12 employees, and our continued growth has brought us to where we are today with over 530 people


POSITION SUMMARY:

Dan's Prize seeks applicants who are available for a flexible hourly work schedule in our location. This requirement is sought because there is an occasional need to extend the workday to meet the changing needs of this employer's customers. This includes possible Saturday/Sunday production. The job duties are rotated amongst employees and may include but are not limited to bagging products, stacking pallets, labelling products, and cleanup of the meat processing machinery, processing rooms, trash removal and other duties as necessary to produce the company product.  

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Follow all company rules for food safety and employee safety.
  • The work environment may include cold, wet, and/or hot conditions.
  • The willingness & ability to drive a forklift consistent with company standards.
  • The ability to use a computer to complete job-related tasks.
  • The ability to perform repetitive hand & wrist motion throughout a shift.
  • The ability to lift/push/pull 50lbs as required throughout the course of a shift.
  • The ability to twist and bend the body as necessary to perform job related tasks.
  • The ability to kneel/squat/climb as necessary to complete job related tasks.
  • The ability to perform grasping & pinching motions to complete job-related tasks

SALARY:

  • Pay Ranges $21.70 - $23.30
