Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
The Revenue Litigation Bureau is responsible for the collection of debts owed to a variety of State agencies. The cases include the collection of debts owed to the Illinois Department of Human Services for childcare, home care and other public assistance related matters.
Qualifications
We are primarily interested in individuals with at least two years experience in general collection work. A strong candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to public service work, sound judgment, and excellent research and writing skills. Additionally, the candidate should have demonstrated case management skills to deal with a large volume case load.
Supplemental Information
Salary: Salaries are commensurate with number of years of practice as a licensed attorney and range from $ 82,000 to $ 107,550.
