A Chicago Intermodal job typically refers to employment in the intermodal freight transport industry based in Chicago, a major transportation hub in the United States. These jobs involve the movement of shipping containers using multiple modes of transportation, such as trains, trucks, and ships, without handling the freight inside the containers. Workers in this field may include truck drivers, logistics coordinators, equipment operators, and rail yard workers. Chicago’s central location and extensive rail and highway networks make it a key center for intermodal operations. Intermodal jobs are essential for efficient supply chain management and help facilitate the movement of goods across the country.
