Distillation Technician

As a Distillation Technician, you'll oversee distillation processes, monitor product quality, and help ensure safe, efficient plant operations while working closely with the lab and operations teams.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor distillation equipment and production processes.
  • Monitor process conditions to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
  • Perform production testing, including gas chromatography, moisture, color, and other quality checks.
  • Collect product samples and work with the lab team to support product quality and process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate production logs, reports, and operating records.
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and Lockout/Tagout procedures while supporting plant safety initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or similar industrial environment preferred.
  • HAZWOPER training or the ability to successfully complete required training.
  • Comfortable using computers and following operating procedures and standard work instructions.
  • Able to work independently, stay organized, and pay close attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work the assigned schedule, perform the physical demands of the job, and pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
