Chevron Extra Mile: Cain Petroleum
Must be crossed trained as cashier as well as attendant to best serve our customers
Must Be Available On Weekends.
Part-time.
Graveyard Shifts approx. 10p-6am $16.75HR.
Other Shifts Various $16.50HR.
This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service while fueling vehicles with requested fuel grades by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties:
  • Greets customers, answers questions, and provides prompt, courteous service.
  • Activates pumps and fills customer fuel tanks with correct grade and amount of fuel and provides receipts of sale.
  • Responsible for all payment transactions with customers, mainly credit card transactions, and directing all other forms of payment to Cashier.

Job Duties:
  • Completes assigned cleaning responsibilities.
  • Washes windshields.
  • Reports any suspicious activity to direct supervisor and authorities, if needed.
  • Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Respectfully takes direction from supervisor/district coordinator.
  • Maintains Chevron Customer First Standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Closes the store when needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
  • No prior experience or training required.
  • Previous experience and/or training in fuel/gas station environment is preferred.

Travel Requirement: This position does not require travel.
Language Skills:
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Computer Skills:
  • Has the minimal skills necessary to operate a computer.
  • Can log on to a computer system, navigate in Windows, perform simple tasks within applications, and enter information into a database.

Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
