Essential Functions
Assist a journeyman electrician and follow instructions
Prepare and clean work areas
Carry and deliver materials
Install, repair, and maintain various electrical wiring systems and equipment
Use measuring equipment and hand tools to perform conduit and cable tray installation
Follow safety codes and building regulations
Be reliable and on time
Other Duties as assigned
$25 - $40 an hour
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
High school diploma or GED certificate
Eagerness to learn electrical schematics and blueprint reading skills
Good technical skills and a willingness to follow instruction
Strong analytical ability and willingness to accept and learn from criticism
Hold valid driver's license
Have good English-speaking skills
Prefer someone with 3-4 years of apprentice experience
Team oriented and possess a strong commitment to SAFETY and Quality.
 
Physical Requirements
Bending, squatting, climbing, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights will all be required
Good work ethic, team player attitude, and problem-solving ability
Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
Own personal hand tools with Power tools provided
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Must be able to work outside in extreme temperatures, or in a shop environment
 
Schedule:
Minimum of 50 hours a week. 10 hours a day. But workload may require us to work 12 hours a day up to 7 days a week
