Job description:
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cherry Picker Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse functions, including order picking, shipping, and receiving, and materials handling. Your expertise in operating heavy equipment and maintaining safety standards will be crucial in ensuring efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse distribution and a commitment to excellence in service delivery.
Shift: 1st (6am to 4:30pm) and 2nd (3pm to 11pm) Shift Monday-Friday, every other weekend is mandatory.
Location: Near Fulton Industrial Blvd - NOT ON THE BUS LINE
Responsibilities
  • Operate Reach Lift, Cherry Pickers to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
  • Perform order picking duties using RF scanners to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Utilize shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Handle heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are followed to prevent injury.
Experience
  • Proven experience as an order picker with familiarity in using RF scanners.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
  • Experience with materials handling and understanding of warehouse management systems.
  • Solid computer skills are preferred.
