Job description

Health Care Technician II (S)

The Health Care Technician II serves as a role model and mentor to other HCT I's throughout the facility and provides quality care to patients on the PICU. This position will deal with the most acute and aggressive patients and will require more extensive training to handle the challenges presented to them within this unit. As an essential member of a multidisciplinary care team, the HCT II practices therapeutic principles when providing care to the patients they serve. Nursing care is performed under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
