This experience helps strengthen your technical skills while exposing you to the workflow and challenges of a professional laboratory environment.

What is a Chemistry Co-Op?

A Chemistry Co-Op is a structured program that allows students pursuing a degree in chemistry or a related field to gain hands-on work experience in a professional setting while still in school. These cooperative education programs typically alternate periods of academic study with periods of full-time employment at a partnering company or research institution. Through a Chemistry Co-Op, students apply classroom knowledge to real-world problems, develop professional skills, and build valuable industry connections. This experience can enhance a student's resume and often leads to better job prospects after graduation.
