Job Details
  • Hourly Wage: $37.92/hour.
  • Work schedule: Second shift - Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Occasional Saturdays may be required.
  • Benefits: 2 weeks' vacation (prorated this year); 3 sick days; 11 holidays a year; Local Bonus Plan; Full medical benefits offered; 401K company match up to 6% (dollar for dollar).

Position overview
As a Chemical Operator at allnex, you will be part of our manufacturing teams who are safely producing our products in an environmentally responsible manner. This includes but is not limited to taking samples from our production lines, handling raw materials, filling our products into their different packages and handling waste materials. We will train you and teach you everything you need to know about the job, there is no prior experience needed. Are you willing and able to work in shifts and are you looking to learn and grow? Then we count on you to help us ensure safe and reliable operations!
Responsibilities
  • Operate the unit safely, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Ensure production quality, meeting strict standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Take samples during manufacturing to monitor and maintain product quality.
  • Package final products (e.g., drums, totes or tank wagons) and ensure proper labeling and storage of all waste generated during the shift.
  • Collaborate with the supervisor to resolve issues and report production incidents and emergencies.
  • Support team development, assisting in training new process operators and working with team members to meet objectives.
  • Heat up and offload raw materials into storage tanks as necessary.
  • Pump reacted batches from holding tanks into drum off tanks, operating the filter press and/or centrifuges as required.

Required skills and experience
  • Prior experience in chemical manufacturing is a plus.
  • Ability to work any shift.
  • Fluent English skills required.

  • Long periods of standing
  • Walking and sitting
  • Ability to wear certified safety equipment as required
  • Lifting capability of up to 40 pounds/20kg
  • Climbing ladders
  • Repetitive movements among others

Qualifications
  • High school diploma required.
  • A forklift driver's license is a plus.
