Rí Rá (roughly translated as "Good Fun") has been a labor of love for Ciaran Sheehan and David Kelly, two childhood friends from Ireland, since they emigrated to the USA in the 1990's. The duo's mission was to create a gathering place like those pubs that they knew so well from their hometowns in Ireland. Such a place would have authentic Irish interiors, would be welcoming to all and would act as a "social hub" for the local community; a "Real Irish Local". Rí Rá in downtown Burlington, VT, encompasses a fantastic, community oriented pub & restaurant, as well as "The Burlington Whiskey Room" on College Street! We want people who support our Mission; which (to "Create Experiences That People Love") and want to have fun in achieving it!

- You have a passion for, and strong knowledge of food and culinary techniques

What You Will be Doing
- Preparing high quality, timely food menu items for general service and special / private events to the exact spec provided
- Completing items assigned on prep and portioning lists as outlined by the Kitchen Manager / Sous Chef / BOH Supervisor in preparation for service needs
- Taking initiative to prepare general items (slicing and dicing etc.) for service to restock stations without the need for significant guidance
- Adhering to all Company SOP's with regards to health & sanitation
- Keeping work-stations clean, organized and inspection ready at all times
- Cleaning and maintaining all small wares and equipment in the kitchen
- Ensuring that set-up and break-down tasks are completed to standard
- Ensuring that all local and state laws are followed as related to the service of food and the BOH facility in general
