Schedule:ย Varies as needed

Pay range: $26.32 an hour, once deemed qualified as a Cheese Room Operator, the hourly pay rate will increase to $27.07/hour.

** This is a union position, covered under Teamsters Local 294 Union**

The job responsibilities for this position are as follows:

Cheese Room Operator:ย  This job includes setting, cutting, cooking, and transferring of cottage cheese vats according to plant SOPs for each step. ย Candidates will be required to understand the following operational needs. They must have the ability to CIP all circuits in cheese operation and whey transferring. General knowledge of the blending deck operation and work in conjunction with Blending Deck Operators to ensure an efficient operation. ย Maintain all documented information as per SQF requirements.ย  Keep all work areas neat and clean at all times, to conform to GMP and SQF requirements. Understand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm's way. Must stay until job is completed or relieved. Must perform any other assignments by a Supervisor or Foreman. ย This description is not all inclusive and is subject to change.
