Job description

The Cook is responsible for efficiently and effectively produce all menu items designated by Abbyโ€™s, following company standards, specifications, and procedures. Also to provide the best possible service to every customer who walks into the Abbyโ€™s experience.


Duties and responsibilities for an Abbyโ€™s Cook are to understand our ticket procedures, use proper amounts of Sauce and Cheese and know the procedures behind it, make regular and deep dish pizza with proper amounts provided, making specialty salads and sandwiches, you will preform oven tending, cutting, and redressing procedures, as well chicken preparation and chicken broasting procedures, and of course daily cleaning duties.


Required skills for this position include but are not limited to; a can-do attitude and good customer service, the ability to read and understand ticket procedures and chart measurements, dexterity with hands and feet (quick on your toes and steady), the ability to work in high volume situations, the ability to stand for up to 8 hours, and the ability to life up to 50 pounds.
