Day Shift (7a–7p) – 2-2-3 Schedule / 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends – Direct-Hire – Plano, TX

Our client is building a brand-new IT Command Center in Plano, and we’re looking for an experienced Command Center Senior Engineer to help launch it. You’ll play a hands-on role in monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise infrastructure across servers, networks, and data centers to keep systems secure and performing at their best.

COMPENSATION: Up to $150K depending on candidate’s experience, etc.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Manage and support enterprise systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
  • Monitor system health, investigate incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues in real time.
  • Ensure infrastructure reliability, redundancy, and security compliance.
  • Implement network and security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, patching, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
  • Partner with global peers (including Singapore Command Center).

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 9+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure engineering (Command Center or NOC preferred).
  • Expertise in Windows Server (2016–2022), Active Directory, and Linux (Red Hat/CentOS).
  • Strong networking background (Cisco, Juniper, F5, Aruba, CheckPoint).
  • Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, and cloud storage technologies.
  • Skilled in PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting.
  • Familiar with tools like Zabbix or Nagios for monitoring.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus (MCSE, RHCE, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP).
  • Must be flexible for rotating 12-hour shifts and occasional weekend/on-call coverage.
