A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Information Security Engineer- Checkmarx.

Position type: Contract

Duration: 6-12 months contract

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote)

As a Information Security Engineer- Checkmarx you will:

• Serve as the technical authority for Checkmarx architecture, including deployment patterns, scalability models, and operational constraints across on?prem, cloud, and containerized environments.
• Lead and take accountability for the end-to-end migration strategy, design, execution, and post-migration validation of the Checkmarx platform.
• Conduct detailed research, analysis, and solution design to ensure the target-state architecture meets performance, stability, security, and compliance requirements.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership during migration activities, including planning, environment readiness, configuration, testing, and cutover execution.
• Minimize reliance on internal teams having to rapidly learn OpenShift (OCP) specific Checkmarx nuances under tight delivery timelines by acting as the primary subject matter expert.
• Identify and proactively mitigate technical risks related to platform performance, data integrity, security vulnerabilities, and service availability.
• Ensure alignment with DCMS mandates and regulatory requirements, increasing stakeholder confidence that compliance objectives will be met without service disruption.
• Collaborate closely with security, infrastructure, platform, and application teams to ensure seamless integration and operational readiness.
• Define and enforce best practices, standards, and documentation for Checkmarx deployments and migrations.

• Deep product specific knowledge of Checkmarx architecture, deployment patterns, and operational constraints.
• Significant research, design, and execution effort required to ensure stability, performance, and security in the target state.
• Provide technical leadership and accountability for the end to end migration.
• Reduce dependency on internal teams learning OCP specific Checkmarx nuances under tight timelines.
• Increase confidence in meeting DCMS mandates without service disruption.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $75 - $80 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
