Retail Assistant

Take everything you've learned on the shop floor and put it to work somewhere new.

Retail teaches you things most jobs don't — how to stay switched on for hours at a time, how to handle every type of customer with the same level of patience, and how to sell without ever feeling like you're "selling." If that sounds familiar, you're already halfway qualified for this role.

We run face-to-face, event-based sales campaigns, and we specifically look for people with a retail background because the overlap is huge. You already know how to approach someone, read what they need, and guide them toward a decision — whether that's picking out a product or just deciding to stop and chat. The difference here is that instead of waiting for customers to come to you, you're out meeting them directly — at events, in the field, wherever the campaign takes us. It's the same instincts, just a different environment, with a lot more energy and variety than a typical retail shift.

You won't need previous sales experience. What you do need is the mindset retail already builds in you: resilience, a genuine interest in people, and the ability to stay positive even when it's a long day. From there, we'll train you in everything specific to sales — techniques, structure, and how to build a role you can actually grow in, rather than just clock hours.
