Job description

The eCommerce CSR performs assigned duties under the direction of the eCommerce Manager. This role supports Wasatch Rx's online business partnerships through purchasing, order management, customer service, and eCommerce platform management. The eCommerce department functions as a smaller-scale version of Wasatch Rx's wholesale operation, serving small retail pharmacies throughout the United States.

  • Hybrid Remote Work Schedule: Following 90 days of employment, newly hired employees are eligible to work remotely Tuesday through Thursday. Required in office days are Monday and Fridays.
  • Job Type: Part Time 25 hours/week
  • Part Time Schedule Options: Monday to Friday (Hours Depending on Candidate/Company Needs)
  • 2 Week Training Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM)
  • Benefits: Full Time Employee Benefits if full time schedule selected

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Purchasing (40% of workday estimate, 25+ searches or purchases per day):
  • Source products through online searches
  • Place product orders (via website or chat)
  • Verify product order records
  • Coordinate product delivery
  • Maintain incoming product records within internal spreadsheets


  • Order Management and Processing (20% of workday estimate):
  • Process customer orders placed through online retail platforms within the CRM (DOit)
  • Update customer information for new and existing accounts
  • Coordinate incomplete or on-hold orders
  • Verify account registration for new customers


  • Customer Service (20% of workday estimate):
  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email
  • Handle a light inbound call volume (0-4 daily, up to 20-25 weekly during peak times)
  • Handle a light outbound call volume (0-4 daily, up to 20-25 daily during peak times or to correct order discrepancies)
  • Research and resolve discrepancies
  • Serve as point of contact for retail platform support inquiries


  • eCommerce Platform Management (20% of workday estimate):
  • Review product inventory levels
  • Manage the online product catalog, including pricing and quantity updates
  • Maintain trending product and pricing lists
  • Complete other project-based assignments as required

Job Requirements:

  • 2 years of phone customer service preferred
  • Microsoft excel experience or sheets experience preferred
  • HSA or GED required
  • Sales experience preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time with or without the use of a sit stand desk
  • Ability to work at a computer station for extended periods of time
  • Ability to answer phones with or without the use of a headset
  • Ability to work on location out of the Sandy, UT Office
