General Description

Dishwasher/Prep Assistant takes on cleaning and sanitation duties in the day to day. They are an essential part of ensuring health department compliance and cleanliness of common areas, dishes, etc.

Knowledge / skill requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • Must have an eye for detail

  • Able to work in a fast paced environment

  • Must be able to stand for a prolonged period of time

Responsibilities:

  • Complete cleaning tasks based on daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule

    • Daily tasks include:

      • Wash amp; Sanitize Silverware between meal service

      • Clean sink amp; backsplash

      • Sweep and mop (when applicable) kitchen

      • Wipe down ovens

      • Ensure all trash cans are emptied and bags replaced.

    • Keep track of monthly cleaning items (Cleaning solutions, dusters, etc)

  • May assist with unloading delivery trucks/vans

  • Assist with kitchen tasks as needed

  • 180 Day schedule in accordance with school calendar.
