Job Description

A Medford, Oregon based client is seeking an exceptional Nurse Practitioner to provide patient care in a community health center. Ideal candidates are collaborative, practice evidence-based care, excel as an individual and as a team member, and provide equitable care to all populations.

Required Qualifications 

  • OR license as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Completion of an MSN and Family Nurse Practitioner program
  • DEA certification
  • CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual Spanish 
  • 1-2 years of experience 

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients, in a community health center environment
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, including preventative care and follow up
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services 
  • Chart review and document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy and JCAHO standards
  • Coordinates the preparation of reports and written documentation including  medical records, as required by the department clinic, state and federal  agencies
  • Supervises Nurses and assistants in examining room and may serve as  preceptor for team members
