The Business Analyst leads pricing strategy, analytics, and modernization initiatives, partnering closely with Commercialization, Finance, Supply Chain, and Technology teams. This position focuses on delivering data-driven insights, leveraging AI/automation, and improving billing and pricing processes to support revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and own pricing strategy and analytics for the North American Bottling system.
- Apply AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics for pricing optimization, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation, predictive analytics, and process improvement across OTC billing.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support revenue growth initiatives and system solution development.
- Define business and system requirements in collaboration with technical leaders.
- Ensure successful implementation, governance, and adoption of new tools and innovations.
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs, eliminate errors, and enhance efficiency.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, narrative analysis, and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policy.
- Support accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, UAT, system testing, and volume reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong background in financial analysis, pricing, and forecasting.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
- Proficiency with ERP and financial systems (SAP, S/4 HANA, Salesforce).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Experience with SQL, data analysis, reporting tools, and Agile/Scrum environments (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of GAAP, account reconciliations, and chart of accounts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence without authority.
