Job description

Home to NASCAR's Championship Weekend,Phoenix Racewayhas been the premier motorsports venue in the Southwest since 1964 and hosts two NASCAR race weekends each year. In March, the Shriners Children's 500 NASCAR Weekend kicks off the race season at Phoenix Raceway, featuring the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and ARCA Menards Series. In November, champions will be crowned in the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series West. Phoenix Raceway also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including corporate meetings and conferences, charity events, holiday events, sport and endurance competitions, driving schools and Segway tours.

EVENT TRAM DRIVERis responsible for driving trucks that pull trams on an assigned route. Additionally, a driver may be assigned as a van or bus driver for a designated route. All drivers must have a valid Class A, B, or C CDL. Drivers must pass a Motor Vehicle Report before being considered. Shifts range from 8 - 15 hours but depend on race finish times.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL POSITIONS:

  • Must possess a Class A, B, or C CDL
  • Must be available NASCAR Championship weekend October 31st - November 2nd, 2025
  • Strong communications and customer service skills
  • Fast learner
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and high stress environment
  • Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions for extended periods
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as assigned
  • Positive attitude, friendly and outgoing
