Charge RN- Surgery located at Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA. Position is Full Time and will work 8-hour Evening shifts (11:00am-7:30pm)

The Operating Room (OR) Charge RN provides clinical leadership and operational oversight of daily surgical services while maintaining direct patient care responsibilities as a circulating nurse across all surgical specialties . This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant perioperative care delivery, balancing real-time operational coordination with hands-on intraoperative nursing practice .

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire
  • 1 year Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Circulating experience in the Operating Room strongly preferred
  • BSN preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years recent OR experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated competency in circulating across multiple surgical specialties
  • Charge or leadership experience
  • CNOR preferred
