Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Med Surg Charge Nurse, you will be a central figure in patient care, seamlessly navigating the healthcare journey to achieve optimal outcomes and an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities include facilitating day-to-day operations of the Unit. Collaborates with staff, Nurse Managers, team leaders, supervisors, and physicians to ensure quality patient care is being provided with optimum patient outcomes
You have a talent for planning and coordinating which patients and their loved ones appreciate. You have the ability to think critically, creatively, and unconventionally when necessary. Project management is a natural talent as you will coordinate care between multiple patients while keeping your entire healthcare team on track with shared goals.
To be successful in this role, you will possess strong clinical acumen, exceptional communication and advocacy skills, and a strategic mindset, all driven by a passion for optimizing patient care across every touchpoint.
We are offering a sign on bonus up to $25,000 to hires who meet the eligibility requirements. We also offer additional pay for participation in our clinical ladder as well as referral bonuses, excellent benefits, and relocation assistance.
Job Requirements
Required
  • 2 years recent Nursing experience in area of specialty
  • Registered Nurse: AR, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days

Preferred
  • Bachelors Of Nursing, upon hire and
  • Admission to a BSN program within one year, or obtainment of a Bachelor degree, 24 - months and
  • Participation in Nursing Career Advancement Program and
  • 1 year charge/management experience
