Project Planner (Estimator): Project Planner (Estimator) is responsible for working with sales, engineering, and operations to develop and maintain project budgets, execution plans, and schedules.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Collaboration across preconstruction and operations teams to develop and maintain project execution plans and schedules (one-Community)
    • Project RFP document review and subcontractor / supplier scope of work creation.
    • Design review & takeoffs (when necessary)
    • RFP & bid sheet development and communication to subcontractors & suppliers
  • Providing project cost estimate presentations to operations and senior management team (full-Commitment)
    • Compiling & evaluating proposals to develop execution plan
    • Meeting with top bidders and ensuring full scope of work coverage
    • Project estimate creation, ownership, and presentation
  • Support operations with budget development, subcontractor and supplier relationship management, and procurement of equipment and services for projects (high-Character)
    • Subcontractor & supplier relationship management
    • Providing continuity throughout procurement/contracting process for scope questions & exhibit development (true-Craftsmanship)
  • Analyze and develop historical and actual cost data, change order estimates, and process updates
    • Develop change order estimates in conjunction with Project / Field Engineer on site
    • Track, maintain, and apply historical estimate and project actual cost data

Qualifications:
  • Must be a comfortable managing external and internal relationships.
  • Must be a problem solver with strong analytical skills.
  • Must be able to travel 25-40% of the time to support the team as needed.
