Job Summary
Princeton High School is looking for a Varsity Volleyball Coach to lead a talented group of student athletes for the Fall 2026 season!
The successful candidate will be able to instruct and coach students in volleyball. The candidate will also help arrange playing schedules and perform all coaching responsibilities associated with the position.
Must meet requirements listed below:
1. Previous high school coaching experience desired.
2. Must be certified in CPR/First Aid (provided as needed).
3. Must be willing and able to work with staff, student athletes, administration, and the Athletic Booster Club.
4. Must have certification in one of two courses (provided as needed):
a. CIF/NFHS Fundamental of Coaching (online)
b. CIF/ASEP Coaching Principles (classroom)
Must have basic knowledge of the following:
1. Character-building aspects of sports, including techniques and methods of teaching and reinforcing the core values comprising sportsmanship and good character.
2. The physical capacities and limitations of the age group coached.
3. Coaching principles related to educational philosophy, adolescent psychology, nutrition, risk management and the rules and strategies of the sport.
